Job summary

HighGround seeks a Remediation Technician to join our restoration team. This entry-level position trains you in mold remediation, demolition, and job-site operations alongside experienced technicians.

You will support daily tasks on job sites, follow SOPs and safety guidelines, and develop the skills to perform restoration work safely, efficiently, and with excellent customer service. Growth opportunities and on-call rotation are available as you learn and advance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong willingness to learn and grow within the restoration industry.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Basic knowledge or interest in construction, plumbing, or restoration preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong customer service skills with a desire to help people in difficult situations.
• IICRC certification is a plus (not required).
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Strong work ethic with a desire to learn, improve, and grow within the company.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned restoration tasks as directed by technicians or supervisors.
• Assist with job site setup, cleanup, and maintaining an organized work area.
• Follow all company SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
• Perform basic demolition tasks under supervision using hand and power tools.
• Remove debris and prepare affected areas for restoration work.
• Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down drying equipment as instructed.
• Clean and organize company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure all materials are properly stored and ready for use.
• Maintain a professional appearance and respectful behavior on job sites.
• Follow direction when interacting with customers.
• Arrive on time and ready to work each day.
• Follow instructions, complete assigned tasks, and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
