Talent Acquisition Manager - Early Talent | Actively Hiring Recruitment Consultants

Formal Title: Recruitment Consultant

Location: New York City Metropolitan Area

Compensation: $55,000 + uncapped commission from day 1 (OTE $75k‑85k first year)

Start Date: January or February 2026

Our team in New York is growing and looking for an entry level Recruitment Consultant to join our Selby Jennings, EPM Scientific, Larson Maddox, DSJ Global, or Glocomms brands.

What does a Recruitment Consultant do at Phaidon International?

You will develop your network, maintain non-transactional relationships, and establish yourself as an expert in your market by doing these core recruitment functions:

Business Development

• Reach out (phone, email, messenger) to potential clients to establish a relationship, network, and win new business
• Pitch and negotiate service agreements with key stakeholders for potential clients
• Maintain existing client relationships and update them throughout ongoing searches
• Pull and qualify client hiring needs to understand the role, company goals, and necessary experience

Candidate Sourcing

• Headhunt top talent (mid-to-senior and executive level candidates) within your assigned niche and territory
• Network with passive/inactive talent
• Cold call active and passive candidates to build rapport, gather market intel, and assess motivations
• Message, email, and cold call candidates to maintain a pipeline of mid-to-senior level candidates within your specialized niche

Process Management

• Introduce candidates to clients
• Coordinate interview process, exchanging feedback between candidate and client
• Negotiate and deliver the offer to the candidate
• Post‑placement care: keep in touch with the candidate after their start to ensure a long‑term fit

Qualifications
