You will perform basic repairs on metal components following layouts, work orders, blueprints, and sketches, contributing to a collaborative team environment and helping ensure quality workmanship. This role requires physical capability, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to pass a drug screen and medical exam as part of the employment process.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper body mechanics.
• Willingness to pass drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs on metal or other weldable materials per layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches.
• Assist with rail car repair tasks and work in a TEAM environment, building relationships at all levels.
