Job summary

Transco Railway Products, Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level Repair Technician for the 3rd shift in Sioux City, IA. You will assist welders by performing basic repair and fabrication tasks, reading layouts and blueprints, and contributing to a TEAM-driven environment.

You will learn to handle a variety of tools such as grinders, welders, cutting torches, forklifts, and cranes, with safety and reliability at the forefront. Eligible candidates work full-time with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Assist more experienced welders with repair and fabrication tasks.
• Read specifications, shop drawings, schematics and blueprints.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and work in a TEAM environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support by performing basic repairs on metal parts.
• Repair parts of metal or weldable materials per layouts, work orders.
• Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and sketches.
• Work in a team environment and establish good relations.
• Maintain safe work practices and cleanliness.
