Job summary

Transco Rail Services is seeking an entry-level laborer in Sioux City, IA to support railcar repair tasks and basic metalwork. You’ll work from layouts, orders, blueprints, and sketches, contributing to a team-driven shop environment.

You will use pneumatic and hydraulic tools, read drawings, and pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical. Competitive wage with shift differential reflects the demanding, hands-on role.

Responsibilities

• Repair parts of metal or other weldable materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches.
• Perform a variety of rail car repair tasks within a TEAM environment to establish good working relationships at all levels.
• Read specifications, shop drawings, schematics, and blueprints and use a range of tools and equipment.
