Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic examinations and support radiologists in procedures at our Philadelphia-area facilities. You will explain procedures to patients, collect histories, and handle routine clerical tasks to keep the unit running smoothly.

Under supervision, you will assist during invasive procedures and provide basic patient care as needed. 1–3 months of experience or training and formal program training are required, with ARRT certification

Qualifications

• 1-3 months experience or training required.
• Satisfactory formal training in an approved program.
• ARRT certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical diagnostic examinations including any necessary room preparation.
• Explains radiographic procedure to the patient and obtains complete patient history.
• Performs clerical duties necessary to the efficient operation of the unit.
• Under the supervision of the Radiologist, assists physicians during invasive procedures and provides basic patient care.
