Job summary

Torch Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level Radar Engineer to join the Tactical Missile Systems team on Redstone Arsenal. The role offers mentorship with a senior radar engineer and begins with foundational work in electromagnetics and software models.

The ideal candidate has a passion for learning, strong physics background, and is ready to contribute to RF phenomenology simulations and data analysis. Security clearance may be required in the future.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a technical discipline (EE/Physics/Math)
• 0-2 years experience with software development, modeling & simulations, radar systems/data analysis
• Proficiency in MATLAB, C++, Python or similar languages to solve problems and model systems

Responsibilities

• Integrate vendor-supplied RF models into a C++ simulation framework and scene generator.
• Develop physics-based RF models for radar phenomenology (RCS, clutter, propagation, antenna patterns).
• Create and run MATLAB and Python scripts to evaluate signal processing and radar performance.
