CM Truck Beds seeks a Quality Technician to support manufacturing by inspecting and testing to meet quality standards. You will document non-conformances, assist root-cause analysis, and maintain standard work while promoting 5S across work areas.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, train operators, and track KPIs to drive continuous improvement and trash waste in processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 2–4 years in a manufacturing or quality role.
• Familiarity with Operational Excellence and 5S.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or QA systems preferred.
• Knowledge of measurement tools.

Responsabilités

• Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure specifications.
• Document and report non-conformances; assist root cause analysis.
• Maintain and audit Standard Work procedures.
• Support 5S in work areas for safety and efficiency.
• Participate in problem solving using 5 Whys, Fishbone, PDCA.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on improvements.
• Assist training of operators on quality standards.
• Maintain records of inspections, tests, and audits.
• Support internal/external audits as needed.
• Monitor KPIs to track progress and identify opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement and adapt to new processes.
• Evaluate processes to reduce waste and implement countermeasures.
