Job summary

CM Truck Beds is seeking a dedicated Weld Quality Inspector to join our metal fabrication team. You will inspect welds at various stages, perform measurements, and conduct non-destructive testing to verify quality and safety of truck beds.

You will maintain inspection records, report deviations, and collaborate with production and engineering to drive corrective actions and preventive measures in a hot, loud manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have high attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience with measurement tools, inspection equipment, and NDT methods.
• Familiarity with ISO quality management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of truck beds at various stages of production.
• Verify critical dimensions and specifications against engineering drawings.
• Conduct non-destructive testing (ultrasonic, magnetic particle, dye penetrant) as required.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including reports and data.
• Communicate deviations and non-conformities to the team for corrective action.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to prevent quality issues.
