Morgan Truck Body in Plainfield, CT seeks a Quality Technician for 1st shift to guard quality from production to release. You’ll inspect against specs, lead rework, perform in-process audits, and ensure final truck quality before road release.

You’ll drive continuous improvement, train teammates on standards, and uphold safety. This role requires 3+ years in QA/manufacturing, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance in manufacturing.
• Strong communication skills to lead and collaborate with teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsabilités

• Inspect and verify every unit against sales agreements and Morgan's precise engineering drawings and specs.
• Lead the charge by directing teammates to tackle rework and keep quality high.
• Conduct in-process audits and partner with production supervisors to fix defects quickly.
• Perform the final inspection to ensure trucks meet standards before release.
• Drive continuous improvement and safeguard quality from production to certification.
• Train and inspire the team on quality standards and safety practices.
