Job summary

Darling Ingredients seeks a Corporate Laboratory Technician, an entry-level role responsible for executing tests to monitor product quality across the company following established methods and lab practices while adhering to health and safety rules.

Training will cover lab procedures, data logging in LIMS, and reporting any off-quality findings to the Lab Manager. The position requires attention to detail and basic math/science coursework.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some science/math coursework.
• Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel; good data entry.
• Basic lab safety knowledge and willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Execute tests per lab procedures and policies.
• Log samples and results in LIMS or logs.
• Coordinate and perform routine and project sample testing.
• Report off-quality findings to Lab Manager.
• Maintain and validate instrumentation with knowledge of equipment functionality.
• Follow SOPs and communicate testing needs to divisions.
