Job summary

Darling Ingredients Inc. is seeking an entry-level Corporate Laboratory Technician who will execute tests to monitor quality of products across the company in accordance with established methods and safety rules.

After training, you will log results in LIMS, assist with routine and project sample testing, and communicate needs across divisions to support accurate reporting and compliant operations. The role requires attention to detail, basic science coursework, and proficiency with Word and

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Some college-level coursework in science and math.
Experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel.

Responsibilities

Execute testing per lab procedures and policies manual.
Log samples and results in LIMS and COA logs.
Assist in coordination and execution of routine and project sample testing.
Report off-quality findings to Lab Manager.
Maintain and validate instrumentation with knowledge of equipment functionality.
Follow directions and SOPs accurately.
Communicate special testing needs to other divisions.
Fulfill customer proposal requests.
Know company products and specifications; knowledge of office functions and sample logs.
Other duties as assigned.
