Job summary

Concepts NREC in White River Junction is seeking an entry level Quality Technician to join the Quality Assurance team. You will learn to read drawings and perform dimensional inspections to verify product conformity, documenting results and quality concerns.

Ideal candidates are recent Voc/HS tech grads with strong communication and a willingness to learn; no prior experience required. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and growth within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Read, interpret, and apply drawings and specifications.
• Perform dimensional inspections with precision tools.
• Identify non-conforming materials/products and processes.
• Assist with calibration and control of inspection equipment.
• Utilize Excel, Word, and Outlook as required.
• Communicate inspection results and quality concerns clearly.

Responsibilities

• Learn to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, work instructions, and applicable quality standards.
• Learn to and perform dimensional inspections using CMMs, micrometers, calipers, height gages, optical comparators, profilometers, and other precision measuring equipment to verify product conformity.
• Learn to and identify non-conforming materials, products, and processes.
• Learn and assist with calibration and control of inspection and measurement equipment.
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, as required.
• Communicate inspection results, quality concerns, and non-conformities clearly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality management system requirements.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
