Job summary

Masemp in Bellows Falls, VT is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their growing team. This is a direct hire opportunity with full-time hours Monday through Friday.

The role focuses on incoming, in-process, and final product inspection using GD&T and measurement tools. You will read engineering drawings, select proper tools, record data in the computer system, and collaborate with departments to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of inspection experience.
• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector is a plus.
• Proficient with measurement tools and metrology.
• Solid computer skills including MS Office.
• Understanding of GD&T, shop math, metrology, and blueprint interpretation.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why’s.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials.
• Inspect in-process and final products.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Select appropriate measuring tools and verify operation.
• Record data in computer systems.
• Ensure company processes are followed and suggest improvements.

Your qualifications for the Quality Inspector position are as follows:

• High School Diploma/GED, Associates Degree preferred
• 3+ years inspection experience
• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector is a plus
• Demonstrated proficiency with measurement tools
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
• Understanding of GD&T, shop math, metrology, and blueprint interpretation
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why’s and other quality practices
• Ability to stand and lift up to 40 pounds throughout the shift
