Energy Jobline ZR in Houston, TX seeks an Entry Level Quality Control Inspector to join our team. You will conduct tests to determine material and product quality and identify improvement areas to boost efficiency.

Daily responsibilities include inspecting materials, using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other gauges, and entering data into reports. This is a first shift role with focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• 6 months minimum experience in quality control or inspection.
• Experience with fittings, flanges, and pipe.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Able to perform simple math.
• Able to interpret technical product specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with computers; comfortable with Word and Excel; SharePoint a plus.

EHC is currently looking for an Entry Level Quality Control Inspector for a client in the south Houston, TX area.

First Shift: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Entry Level Inspector to join our team. You will conduct tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Daily use and care of measuring equipment consisting of calipers, micrometers, tap measure, height gage and NPT threaded gages
• Daily inspection on inbound and outbound material
• Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
• Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
• Participate in routine visual inspections
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Ability to enter data into report

Qualifications:

• At least 6 months experience
• Experience with fittings flanges pipe
• Forklift experience
• Must be able to do simple math
• Ability to interpret technical product specs
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer proficiency

Work Environment:

• Extreme heat and cold temperatures may be encountered during the course of the workday.
• Safety boots required.
