Job summary

Central Stone Company is seeking an Entry Level Quality Control Specialist for our Antonia Quarry in Antonia, MO. This full-time, hourly position runs Monday through Friday on the first shift, with occasional Saturdays based on business needs.

You will collect samples, perform tests on construction aggregates, and help maintain testing equipment. Candidates should be safety-focused, capable of outdoor work in all weather, and able to communicate clearly; a valid driver’s license is required and

Qualifications

• Safety-focused and procedures-oriented.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to perform outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift heavy samples up to 75 pounds.
• Must pass and maintain MODOT Certified Aggregate Technician training.

Responsibilities

• Obtains samples and performs tests, calculations and inspections of construction aggregate produced at our St. Louis area operations.
• Prepares reports and maintains accurate records according to established procedures
• Assists in the operation, maintenance and control of test equipment to ensure accuracy and precision
• Observes all safety rules and keeps work areas and equipment clean and orderly
• Fills in at the scale house, when needed
