Job summary

Central Stone Company has an immediate opening for an Entry Level Quality Control/Plant Operator at our Hannibal, MO plant. This is a full-time, hourly position with some Saturdays seasonally.

Responsibilities include sampling, testing, reporting and equipment operation to ensure quality and safety across Hannibal operations. Ideal candidates will have Certifed Aggregate Technician training (MODOT), strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds while working outdoors in

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Safety-focused and attentive to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Obtain samples and perform tests, calculations and inspections of construction aggregate produced at Hannibal operations.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate records per procedures.
• Assist in operation, maintenance and control of test equipment for accuracy.
• Assist in operation and maintenance of plant equipment (loaders, skid steers, man-lift, etc.).
• Observe all safety rules and keep work areas clean and orderly.

Central Stone Company has an immediate opening for an Entry Level Quality Control/Plant Operator at our plant in Hannibal, MO. This is a full-time, hourly position working some Saturdays depending on the season.

Quality Control/Plant Operator responsibilities include:

• Obtains samples and perform tests, calculations and inspections of construction aggregate produced at our Hannibal area operations.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate records according to established procedures
• Assists in the operation, maintenance and control of test equipment to ensure accuracy and precision
• Assists in the operation and maintenance of plant equipment (loaders, skid steers, man-lift, etc.)
• Observes all safety rules and keeps work areas and equipment clean and orderly

Quality Control/Plant Operator Specialist Requirements:

• Will be required to pass and/or maintain Certified Aggregate Technician training for both MODOT
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, ability to work independently
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Must have valid Driver's License
• Ability to lift heavy samples up to 75 pounds
