Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in Covington, GA seeks an Entry Level Quality Control Technician to ensure product quality for medical device components. You will perform inspections, document results, and follow SOPs and product specs.

This contract on W2 runs 7 months, Mon-Fri 7:30-4:00, 40 hours/week at $20–$25/hr, requiring basic math, attention to detail, and ability to read sampling plans and AQL inspections; prior exposure to ISO/FDA regulated environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience in a regulated environment (ISO, FDA).
• Proficient in the use of personal computers with basic level of keyboarding skills.
• Ability to utilize measurement equipment (calibrated rulers & weights, calipers, etc.) a plus.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Self-starter, must be able to work independently with little direct supervision.
• Responsible decision maker, ability to reason and make sound decisions.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement, Problem Analysis, Root Cause Investigation.
• Understands Quality sampling plans and must be able to read and understand AQL inspection plans.
• Experience in performing quality inspections in process or within a lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality control inspections on product and/or components in accordance with internal plant SOPs and Product Specifications.
• Accurately prepares inspection paperwork and result documentation.
• Verifies Documentation of product lot records to ensure compliance with Bard’s product specifications and good documentation procedures.
• Prepares MRR/Rejection Notices (where appropriate).
• Utilizes sampling plans to determine inspection levels for routine quality inspections.
• Trains on all applicable procedures as it relates to the Quality Technician role.
• Participates as needed as a quality representative for small team activities for process improvements.
• Cross trains to provide quality control coverage as needed in support of business needs/ strategies.
• Seen as a Champion of Quality as it relates to the execution of the QMS.
