Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking an Analyst I – QC Environmental Monitoring in North Carolina. The role focuses on routine testing of bioburden, conductivity, and TOC across raw materials, finished products, and environmental samples, with strong emphasis on documentation and standard procedures.

The position requires 3+ years in a regulated lab, knowledge of GMP/GLP, and experience with LIMS; the candidate will contribute to investigations, audits, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a regulated Environmental Monitoring or Microbiology laboratory (e.g., FDA, ISO, USDA) required, with GxP testing preferred.
• Technical and scientific knowledge of laboratory techniques and quality principles (GMP/GLP) preferred.
• Experience with data entry and analysis software (LIMS) preferred.
• Experience with QC/Environmental Monitoring testing and USP/EP/BP method/validation knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and execute SOPs while assessing safety and environmental risks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine QC Environmental Monitoring testing on materials and samples with accurate documentation.
• Review laboratory testing in alignment with SOPs and timelines.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs, GLP, GMP, and HSE requirements; support QC procedures.
• Prepare laboratory areas for audits and review logs, calibrations, and expirations.
• Maintain instruments and inventory; contribute to quality reports and documentation.
• Assist investigations by documenting results and supporting root-cause analyses.
• Collaborate with site teams to track deliverables and communicate issues to management.
• Enter and maintain data in LIMS and paper records; support system upkeep and validation.
