Job summary

bioMérieux in Cary, NC seeks an Analyst I – QC Environmental Monitoring to perform routine testing on raw materials, finished products, and environmental samples, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with GDP and SOPs.

The role collaborates with teams, supports investigations, maintains instruments, and contributes to continuous improvement in a fast-paced, FDA-regulated environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in regulated Environmental Monitoring or Microbiology lab.
• GMP/GLP experience preferred.
• Experience with LIMS and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine QC Environmental Monitoring testing on materials, products, air, water, surfaces, personnel, and cleaning samples with proper documentation.
• Review results against SOPs and timelines.
• Maintain SOP, GLP, GMP, and HSE compliance and assist in audits.
• Prepare lab areas for audits and review logs, calibrations, expirations, and cleanliness.
• Maintain instruments and support material inventory and quality reports.
• Assist investigations by documenting invalid results and supporting root-cause analysis.
• Enter and maintain data in LIMS and paper records and support validation.
• Participate in 6S and continuous improvement initiatives.
