Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a quality-focused engineer to drive automated testing across UI, API, and cloud-based applications. You will partner with product and engineering teams to clarify acceptance criteria and reduce risk early in delivery.

As you grow, you may lead quality strategy, improve frameworks, mentor others, and help deploy AI-assisted testing tools to accelerate outcomes while upholding federal security and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

Experience in software quality engineering or SDET roles.
Hands-on with one or more automation frameworks (Playwright/Selenium/Cypress).
Experience testing APIs, web apps, integrations, and cloud-based apps.

Responsibilities

Design, build, maintain, and execute automated tests across UI, API, integration, regression, smoke, and E2E layers.
Partner with product and engineering teams to clarify acceptance criteria and quality risks.
Create test plans, data, defect workflows, reporting, and quality metrics to support releases.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and promote shift-left quality.
Validate APIs, web apps, data flows, and cloud-based applications across functional and nonfunctional requirements.
Support performance, security, accessibility, and compliance validation as needed.
