Job summary

Terra-Gen in Mojave, CA is seeking a PV/BESS O&M Technician III to perform field maintenance on Edward/Sanborn projects. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, system testing, and on-site inspections to ensure operations meet industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3+ years’ utility-scale solar experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a solid safety record. Role may involve travel and rotating schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3+ years’ experience at a Utility-scale Solar Plant.
• Technical/engineering degree or energy systems certificate preferred.
• Experience with metering and test equipment.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and complete multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on PV/BESS systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system failures.
• Observe safety practices and supervise contractor work.
• Document maintenance in the CMMS system.
• Travel to alternate worksites as needed.
• Coordinate with site supervisor and cross-functional teams.
• Prepare reports for site management.
