Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated is seeking an entry-level Pump Tech to assist with water pump installation tasks, perform routine mechanical work, and support field operations. The role is primarily outdoors and may require overnight travel to job sites across the nation.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, and CDL A/B is a plus; construction or outdoor industry experience is preferred. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work 10–12 hour shifts is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, troubleshooting, and repair of water pumps.
• Drive equipment to job sites.
• Operate and maintain service trucks, cranes, boom trucks, generators, engines, pumps.
• Load and unload trucks with equipment and materials.
• Collect and label water samples for analysis.
• Maintain accurate records of time and materials.
