Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate radio systems to dispatch emergency vehicles and personnel.
• Answer emergency and non-emergency calls and provide pre-arrival medical instructions.
• Use computer programs to provide resource information to field units and the public.
• Enter information into CALIFORNIA LAW ENFORCEMENT TELECOMMUNICATIONS System and data storage.
• Prioritize requests and coordinate appropriate resources under pressure.
• Maintain calm, clear communication with proper diction during stressful situations.
