Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Xenia, OH is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a PRN basis. You will work under licensed PTs to provide direct patient care and support rehabilitation plans.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies or related field.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Ohio.
• 0 years of experience (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and assist patients as needed.

Responsabilités

• Assist licensed physical therapists with the evaluation, planning, and implementation of patient care plans
• Conduct physical therapy interventions, including exercise instruction, gait training, and education on proper body mechanics
• Use a variety of techniques, including heat, cold, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound, as directed by the physical therapist
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and treatment of patients
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
