Job summary

Medical Hill Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This role offers full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules with starting pay at $50/hour.

We emphasize mentorship, professional development, and a supportive, resident-centered environment. As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide skilled therapy services, implement treatment plans, and help residents reach their highest function

Qualifications

• Current and valid California PTA license required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervising Physical Therapist to provide skilled therapy services to residents.
• Implement individualized treatment plans as established by the supervising PT.
• Provide interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional performance.
• Monitor resident responses and report progress to the supervising therapist.
• Document treatments and resident progress accurately and timely.
• Educate residents and families on exercises, mobility techniques, safety strategies, and home programs.
• Collaborate with Therapists, nursing staff, and other care team members.
• Participate in care conferences and contribute to discharge planning and goal setting.
