Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Santa Clara County is seeking individuals for in-home support to children on the Autism Spectrum as Behavior Technicians.

This entry-level role is ideal for those starting in psychology, early childhood development, or special education, with training fully paid by Maxim. Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development or minimum one year experience with children in related roles.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
