Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking an entry-level production worker to handle production and packaging of component trays, kits, and other packages for customer orders. You will participate in assembling, inspecting, and preparing items for shipping.

You’ll rotate tasks on the production line, help meet safety and quality standards, and support other departments as needed. The role involves lifting up to 60 lbs, basic math, and using a computer to locate information and print reports.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and compute basic math.
• Fluently speak, read and write English.
• Must be able to use a computer to locate information and print reports
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Must be able to Bend, twist, reach, push, lift for extended periods daily.
• Ability to work well with others to accomplish team objectives.
• Must have high sense of urgency.
• Flexibility to work mandatory overtime based on business needs

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and sort materials; handle work orders and calculate material requirements.
• Assemble trays, kits, or packages according to specifications; rotate between tasks on the production line.
• Measure, fold, pack finished goods and inspect for defects.
• Pack finished goods for delivery using correct documentation and materials.
• Maintain and operate production equipment and keep workstations clean.
• Follow safety rules and maintain clean work areas.
