Job summary

Twin City Die Castings, Inc. in Watertown, SD seeks Production Operators to support safe and efficient operation of production equipment and to help produce quality products for customers.

Responsibilities include operating and monitoring equipment, inspecting parts, taking measurements, packaging, and maintaining records. Training is provided; no prior manufacturing experience is required. We offer employee ownership and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior manufacturing experience required; training is provided.
• Ability and willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and procedures.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manual and/or automated production equipment in accordance with established procedures and work instructions.
• Load, position, secure, and remove materials or workpieces from production equipment.
• Monitor equipment and production processes to identify quality issues, equipment malfunctions, or other abnormalities and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Visually inspect finished products for defects and verify that products meet established quality requirements.
• Use basic measuring tools and inspection equipment to verify product dimensions and specifications.
• Perform manual production tasks such as trimming, finishing, deburring, cleaning, assembling, or packaging products.
• Maintain a continuous flow of product through the assigned production process.
• Use hand tools, air tools, and other equipment as required to perform assigned duties.
• Follow work instructions, production requirements, and established processes to ensure consistent product quality.
• Accurately record production information, work time, quality checks, and other required documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all environmental, health, and safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Communicate equipment, quality, safety, or production concerns to the appropriate supervisor or team member.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
