Job summary

Mesa Labs in Bozeman, MT is seeking an entry-level Production Process Operator I to join our Sterilization and Disinfection Control division. You will assist in operating and maintaining production equipment, following SOPs, and ensuring product quality in a clean, safe environment.

This on-site role offers paid training, with a base wage of $20/hr and a 10% annual bonus eligibility, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan with company match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of related experience.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn how to operate and troubleshoot production machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.
• Good communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up basic production machinery.
• Assist with machine changeovers and calibration.
• Monitor performance and minimize downtime.
• Perform basic quality inspections and document defects.
• Maintain proper labeling, packaging, and storage.
• Assist in loading/unloading materials and manage inventory.
• Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Follow safety SOPs and wear PPE.
• Record daily production data and report to supervisors.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff and other operators.
