Job summary

Weyerhaeuser Company is accepting applications for an Entry Level Production team member at our Idabel, Oklahoma Lumber facility. This entry level, night shift position offers starting pay of $20.02/hr and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, keeping areas clean, feeding items onto equipment, and following detailed instructions. Must be willing to work various shifts, weekends and holidays, and pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have one year employment experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to perform basic math and basic computer skills.
• Must be team oriented.
• Willingness to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in extreme heat and cold.
• Ability to perform essential job functions (stairs, catwalks, lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Willingness to learn new jobs and skills.
• Pre-employment computer-based testing.
• Post-offer background check, physical, and drug screen.

• Operate equipment in the area.

• Interpret work instructions and complete tasks as delegated.

• Communicate with team and leadership to ensure information flow.
• Follow covid cleaning protocols at end of shift.
• Wear required personal protective equipment.

This is an Entry Level Production night shift position starting at $20.02/hr.

Key Functions

• Total commitment to working safe and following all safety rules and regulations
• Responsible for cleaning the assigned production area - sweeping and removing debris
• Responsible for operating equipment in assigned area
• Feeding or placing items onto equipment for processing or removing items after processing
• Interpreting work instructions adequately and successfully completing tasks as delegated
• Safe start up and shut down of equipment in assigned area of responsibility
• Must demonstrate willingness and ability to learn new jobs and skills
• Communicating with team members and leadership to ensure consistent exchange of information
• Mandatory cleaning according to covid protocols of your individual workstations at end of shift.
• Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift or mobile equipment experience.

This position is designated by Weyerhaeuser as safety-sensitive. As a result, you will be subject to pre-employment testing for cannabis and its metabolites. A positive test result for marijuana (including THC) may disqualify you from employment, even if you hold a valid Oklahoma medical marijuana license.
