Job summary

Year Up United offers a one-year (or less) intensive job training program combining classroom skill development with internships and job placement services. Students participate in four career pathways including Banking, Customer Success and Insurance Operations & Claims, with YUPRO Placement facilitating internships such as at BNY Mellon in Pittsburgh.

Eligible individuals gain practical finance and professional skills, plus a weekly educational stipend during the internship.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED owner
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Available Monday-Friday during the program
• Motivated to learn technical and professional skills
• Have not obtained a Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

• Gain product and service knowledge in banking, customer success, or insurance operations & claims.
• Participate in internships and job placement support through YUPRO Placement.
• Develop professional business and communication skills, interviewing and networking.
• Receive coaching and mentorship throughout the program.
