Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) in Heath, OH, seeks an Entry Level Product Repair/Modification Technician to support the ICBM team. You will assist with disassembly, troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems, and perform validation testing under supervision.

Responsibilities include fabricating and modifying aerospace products per specifications, handling safe operations, and contributing to program objectives on third shift where required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ of experience working with tools and following work instructions.
• Willingness to work with beryllium and/or other chemical elements.
• Willingness to work any shift as required.
• Basic computer experience and competency.

Position Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Experience in the inspection of parts, components, assemblies or units
• 1+ years’ of experience soldering experience and assembly of equipment
• 1+ years’ of experience using hand held tools and/or hand-held power tools
• Read and understand basic engineering drawings and specifications
• 1+ years’ of experience working under a microscope

Shift

This role is primarily third shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.

Summary pay range: $48,450 – $65,550
