Job summary

The Boeing Company in Heath, OH, is seeking an Entry Level Product Repair/Modification Technician to support the ICBM team. This role focuses on assembling and disassembling systems, performing basic troubleshooting, and testing components on the line.

You will assist with disassembly, troubleshooting, testing, and fabrication of aerospace products under supervision, with shift 3 as the primary schedule and relocation assistance not specified.

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Product Repair/Modification Technician to support the ICBM team in Heath, OH!

Position Responsibilities:

• Assists with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes
• Assists with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components
• Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components
• Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications
• Assists with performs tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations)
• Works under supervision

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1+ years’ of experience working with tools and following work instructions

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience in the inspection of parts, components, assemblies or units
• 1+ years’ of experience soldering experience and assembly of equipment
• 1+ years’ of experience using hand held tools and/or hand-held power tools
• Read and understand basic engineering drawings and specifications
• 1+ years’ of experience working under a microscope
