Job summary

Salem District Court seeks a Probation Case Administrator I to support data entry, run queries in the CARI system, and prepare daily trial lists while assisting attorneys, law enforcement, and the public.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of modern office equipment and technology, including computers and applicable software.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service at front counter; answers calls and directs inquiries.
• Enters and updates restraining orders and processes mail.
• Copies, files, and retrieves court documents; prepares materials for court sessions.
• Updates CARI with continuance dates and depositions.
• Assists attorneys, litigants, and law enforcement; responds to routine information requests.
• Retrieves criminal records, enters data, and updates records in automated systems.
• Supports Probation Officers with case closures and documentation updates.
• Opens case assignments and furnishes documentation to Probation Officers.
