Job summary

MMI Engineered Solutions in Saline, Michigan is seeking an Entry-Level Press Operator to support our manufacturing operations. No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.

You will inspect, count, and package plastic parts from molding presses and identify quality defects to ensure parts meet standards. This full-time role offers a reliable schedule with A or B shift options, and a starting rate of $17-19 per hour.

Qualifications

• No previous manufacturing experience required.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Willingness to adhere to all safety and quality procedures
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Perform various production tasks, including trimming excess plastic, adding fixtures or components, counting parts, and packaging finished products.
• Inspect parts for defects and remove parts that do not meet quality standards.
• Review and interpret quality alerts and part specifications before starting a job.
• Accurately complete production logs, job startup checklists, and operator logs.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations in accordance with environmental and safety guidelines
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth and efficient production process.
• Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding any quality issues
