MMI Engineered Solutions is seeking an Entry-Level Press Operator in Saline, Michigan. Training will be provided; no prior manufacturing experience is required. You will inspect, count, and package plastic parts from molding presses, ensuring quality to meet company standards.

Pay starts at $17-19 per hour with C and D shifts listed. Duties include maintaining clean workstations, completing logs, and collaborating with the team to sustain smooth production while adhering to safety guidelines.

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations per environmental and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth and efficient production process.
• Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding any quality issues.

Job description

We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Press Operator to support our manufacturing operations. No previous manufacturing experience is required - we will train you on the job! As a Press Operator, you will play an important role in keeping our production line running smoothly by inspecting, counting, and packaging plastic parts as they come off our molding presses. Our Press Operators are responsible for identifying quality defects and making sure parts meet customer and MMI standards before they move to the next step in the process. This position is a great fit for someone who is dependable, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in doing quality work. Regular attendance and the ability to accurately count and visually inspect parts are essential to success in this role.

Starting Rate: $17-19/Hour

Schedule Options

• C Shift - Monday through Wednesday 6:00pm-12:15am alternating Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday 6:00pm-6:15am.
• D Shift - Monday through Wednesday 12:00am-6:15am alternating Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday 6:00pm-6:15am.

Work Environment & Expectations

• Manufacturing environment that may be hot, noisy, dirty.
• Substantial physical effort - extensive reaching, lifting, stretching, bending and twisting.
• Stop production if the 3-5-10 rule or set process doesn't result in a quality product.
