MMI Engineered Solutions is seeking an entry-level Press Operator to support our plastic molding operations in Saline, MI. No prior manufacturing experience is required, as we provide on-the-job training to help you learn the role.

You will inspect, count, and package parts as they come off molding presses, identify quality defects, and ensure parts meet our standards before they move to the next stage. The position offers first-rate training and opportunities to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• No previous manufacturing experience required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance.
• Willingness to overtime and weekends.
• Safe and quality-conscious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform production tasks: trim excess plastic, add fixtures, count parts, package finished products.
• Inspect parts for defects and remove non-conforming items.
• Review quality alerts and part specifications before starting a job.
• Accurately complete production logs and startup checklists.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized workstations.
