MMI Engineered Solutions in Warren, MI is seeking a Press Operator-2nd Shift to support our manufacturing operations. You will operate press equipment, review quality alerts, perform first-piece inspections, and maintain accurate production logs to meet customer specs.

NEW STARTING RATE: $17-19/Hour

We are currently seeking a Press Operator-2nd Shift to support our manufacturing operations in Our Facility at Warren, MI. This role is critical to ensuring that high-quality parts are produced according to customer specifications and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate press equipment safely and efficiently
• Review and interpret quality alerts and part specifications before starting a job
• Perform first-piece inspections and compare against approved first articles
• Accurately complete production logs, job startup checklists, and operator logs
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations in accordance with environmental and safety guidelines
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions
• Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding any quality issues

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Willingness to adhere to all safety and quality procedures
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

Work Environment & Expectations

• Manufacturing environment that may be hot, noisy, dirty.
• Substantial physical effort - extensive reaching, lifting, stretching, bending and twisting.
• Stop production if the 3-5-10 rule or set process doesn't result in a quality product.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 2:45 pm till 11:15 pm
