Job summary

MMI Engineered Solutions is seeking a Press Operator-1st Shift in Warren, MI to operate press equipment, inspect parts and maintain production logs. The role requires safety awareness and the ability to work with a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate press equipment safely and efficiently.
• Review and interpret quality alerts and part specifications before starting a job.
• Perform first-piece inspections and compare against approved first articles.
• Accurately complete production logs, startup checklists and operator logs.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations per guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions.
• Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding any quality issues.

NEW STARTING RATE: $17-19/Hour

We are currently seeking a Press Operator-1st Shift to support our manufacturing operations in Our Facility at Warren, MI. This role is critical to ensuring that high-quality parts are produced according to customer specifications and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate press equipment safely and efficiently

Work Environment & Expectations:

• Manufacturing environment that may be hot, noisy, dirty.
• Substantial physical effort - extensive reaching, lifting, stretching, bending and twisting.

• Stop production if the 3-5-10 rule or set process doesn't result in a quality product.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday: 6:45 am -3:15 pm
