Job summary

Family Assist is seeking an Entry-Level Preservation Architect in Washington to preserve and restore historical buildings in compliance with preservation standards. This role is suitable for a fresh graduate and requires Malayalam language proficiency. Strong reading of plans and attention to detail are essential.

You will work closely with senior architects and project managers on restoration projects, developing preservation plans and reports while collaborating with contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with a focus on historic preservation.
• Knowledge of local and national preservation laws and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in Malayalam.

• Prior experience or internships in historic preservation is preferred but not required.
