Overview

A reputable architecture firm in the US is seeking a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures while adhering to strict preservation guidelines and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine necessary preservation and restoration plans
• Develop detailed preservation plans that meet local state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure preservation plans are carried out effectively
• Oversee construction work to ensure compliance with preservation guidelines
• Research and recommend appropriate materials and techniques for restoration projects
• Maintain accurate documentation of all preservation work

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Architecture or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in historic preservation projects
• Strong understanding of local state and federal preservation regulations
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and other architectural software
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with project teams
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles is a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

The salary for this position is $1,300 per month.

Location

This is a contract job located in the US. Candidates must have their own valid visa or be eligible to work in the US.
