Job summary

Entegris in Tennessee is seeking a Machinist I to perform tasks related to machining graphite, silicon carbides, and other specialty materials, following detailed blueprints and customer specifications.

You will operate vertical CNC mills, manual and CNC lathes, surface and centerless grinders, cup grinders, bandsaws, and related equipment; perform setups, ensure quality, and uphold safety and ISO procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must read blueprints and machine drawings; perform precise measurements.
• Experience with machining methods and ISO 9000/14000 environment is a plus.
• Must comply with U.S. export control laws.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed blueprints and customer specifications.
• Operate hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and computer interfaces.
• Operate vertical CNC mills, lathes, grinders, bandsaws, and related equipment.
• Perform machine setups and production of parts per customer job.
• Maintain safety and quality per SOPs.
