Job summary

Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level Sprayer in Ashland, AL to support the Finishing Department. The role emphasizes learning spray gun setups, maintaining spray booth cleanliness, and ensuring proper material application with attention to detail and safety.

You will work in a manufacturing environment with opportunities to grow in finishing operations, learning standards, and quality checks while meeting daily production goals and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand paperwork and or labels.
• Must have good hand and eye coordination.
• Ability to perform spray functions, handling parts, and operating spray equipment.
• Ability to stay-on-task, follow safety guidelines and work process procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a self-starter who works well and can follow a list of daily work assignments.
• Possesses a willingness to learn new ways to enhance productivity.
• Must be able to follow directions well and have good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Production lead person or Supervisor of a problem or issue.
• Learn spray gun set-ups, and any other adjustments and operating requirements in addition to cleaning protocol.
• Ensure correct fluid and air set up is complete for the spray gun and spray booth.
• Complete Daily Spray Booth Checkoff sheet, including keeping spray booth filters changed and cleanliness of spray booth.
• Use knowledge of pressure gauges to make decisions.
• Learn how to correctly apply material according to the Sprayers handbook.
• Know parts specifications and characteristics (finish type, part type, wood type).
• Know which side to spray on and how to spray all parts of the product.
