Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking an entry-level Equipment Processing Technician to support decontamination, sorting, sterilization, and inspection of PPE, medical equipment, medications, and other clean room areas. You will coordinate equipment pick-up and delivery with hospital unit representatives, ensuring safe, timely service and smooth workflow between departments.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent, with Equipment Processing program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, sort, decontaminate, and sterilize PPE, medical equipment, medications, and other clean room areas.
• Coordinate pick-up and delivery of equipment requiring disinfection with hospital unit representatives.
• Maintain workflow between work area and customer departments providing excellent customer service.
