City and County of San Francisco seeks an entry-level Plumbing Inspector to join our code enforcement team. You will inspect plumbing, mechanical, gas, and related systems for compliance with codes and ordinances and explain requirements to engineers, contractors, and property owners.

Formación

• Completion of a CA-certified plumbing apprenticeship and 3 years journey-level experience.
• OR a CA-licensed plumbing contractor with C-36 license and 8 years of experience in the trade.
• Possession of a valid California driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Inspects plumbing, mechanical, gas appliances, low-pressure boiler and fire sprinkler installations for code compliance.
• Explains code requirements to property owners, contractors, and professionals.
• Drives to inspection sites and coordinates with other departments.
