Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; plating operation good practices training required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and environmentally responsible workplace and follow safety habits on the plating line.
• Process material through the complete cleaning, activation and plating sequence.
• Execute and monitor production per Traveler specifications.
• Ensure documentation is complete and ready before running a job.
• Follow Traveler procedures and document process parameters.
• Watch for quality issues and inform supervisor of any anomalies.
• Scan process steps as required.
• Execute production schedule to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Perform shift-transfer tasks like cleaning tanks and equipment, and communicating status.
• Participate in daily metrics meetings and Kaizen/5S activities.
• Be adaptable to work in other processes as needed.
• Wear OSHA-regulated PPE at all times during plating operations.
