Job summary

PacAero is seeking a Plating Technician to support all levels of plating activities at the Mission facility. You will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot plating baths and equipment to ensure efficient, high-quality results.

Responsibilities include monitoring baths and recording data in Excel, processing nickel and gold plating, and adhering to safety and quality procedures. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher preferred; reliability and eagerness to learn.
• Previous plating environment experience is a plus but not required.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds; able to work daily with chemicals and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operating conditions of plating baths and record data in Excel daily (hourly when needed).
• Process parts in Electroless Nickel, Electrolytic Nickel, Gold.
• Observe safety practices, policies, and quality procedures within the department.
• Follow all procedures outlined in work instructions or flow charts.
• Troubleshoot plating processes to ensure products meet specifications.
• Other duties as assigned.
