ONYX Specialty Processing is seeking an Entry-Level Plating Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will assist with plating operations, prep parts, monitor chemical baths, and uphold safety and quality standards. No prior plating experience is required as comprehensive on‑the‑job training is provided.

Candidate must be a US citizen or permanent resident per ITAR. This role offers hands-on training, opportunities to grow within a medium‑size facility, and exposure to anodizing,

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No plating experience needed; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical processes.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required due to ITAR.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare parts for plating by cleaning, masking, and racking according to specifications.
• Operate and monitor anodizing, passivation, and chemical conversion coating processes.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and customer requirements.
• Maintain process tanks by monitoring chemical levels and performing basic adjustments.
• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines, including PPE use.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and general housekeeping of the plating area.
• Record process data and complete documentation for quality control.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals and deadlines.
