Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
Experience in maintenance, preferably with heavy equipment.
Basic understanding of workplace safety and ability to follow safety procedures.
Exposure to preventative maintenance processes under supervision.

Responsibilities

Conduct pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and complete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
Troubleshoot and replace basic mechanical components such as belts, idlers, pulleys, and pumps.
Perform structural repairs and weld/cut/grind wear parts as needed.
Adhere to MSHA/OSHA safety standards and implement LOTO procedures.
Record and maintain service logs and maintenance records.
